New Vacancy: Digital Marketing Specialist


Location: Auckland / Permanent / Full Time

Position purpose

The role of the Digital Marketing Specialist is to develop and implement the digital marketing plan for CFFC and Sorted. The role is focused on connecting Sorted and CFFC trusted information to New Zealanders by understanding how to attract and retain audiences across digital marketing channels. The Digital Marketing Specialist needs to be a digital specialist, in-tune with content, brand and digital marketing trends in relation to their influence and impact on our target audiences. This is an insights driven and creative role that amplifies CFFC’s reach and effective engagement.

Key aspects of the role include

  • Develop and implement digital content marketing plan
  • Plans and maintains consumer content calendar for Sorted portfolio
  • Co-ordinate all digital media spend across search, social and performance media for all brands
  • Collaborate with financial capability team and customer data and analytics manager to map customer journeys within and across digital assets
  • Utilise customer data to inform audience targeting and effectiveness
  • Own consumer email marketing plan for Sorted portfolio
  • Brief editorial / comms and creative teams for digital outreach content
  • Day to day liaison with creative and media agencies across always-on digital activities
  • Oversee and co-ordinate with Comms on community management needs for Sorted Social
    channels
  • Utilise martech to enhance personalisation and relevance  

Essential skills and experience 

  • 5+ years working in media, creative or digital agency environment or client-side digital marketing positions with experience in social media and email marketing and search
  • Financial Services or Government marketing experience a benefit
  • Understanding of using Facebook Business Manager to create and manage ad campaigns
  • Experience using Google Analytics
  • Sound experience in online campaign planning from conception to development
  • Demonstrated understanding of social media strategic planning and management
  • Understanding of search marketing across both SEO and SEM
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite for developing digital creative a bonus
  • Experience using Hubspot / other CRM / automation platforms
  • Demonstrated experience in using content management systems (CMS), including basic HTML/CSS knowledge
  • Communication skills - Excellent English writing, editing, and speaking skills; Ability to effectively communicate to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Proven strategic agility and analytical skills with the ability to look at the broader perspective
  • Computer skills - High proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel
  • Organisational skills - effective project prioritization
  • Digital marketing skills - deep understanding of digital landscape and marketing with proven success in digital
